Winkies', Quadlings', Munchkins' people,
When those little happy nations
Changed by different translation.

Marvellous world
Was recreated
Now and again:
Malice untold,
Bloodlust and hatred,
Carpenter's reign.

The soldiers march,

Meet Urfin, the witches' student,
Who made soldiers that were wooden,
That were feared and that were hated,
By a wildweed animated.

Here they advance,
Their bodies glisten,
Steps shake terrain;
None stand a chance,

Fierce wooden men.

Read the book and you'll believe that
Urfin hacked the weed and cleaved it,
